About Shavano Park, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Bexar CountyShavano Park is an affluent community and San Antonio enclave. As of 2010, the population had surpassed 3,000 residents, which was almost twice the 2000 population. Although the city lies in the southeastern corner of Texas Hill Country, the terrain is generally flat. The Northside Independent School District serves the community, but older students will need to attend classes in San Antonio at Hobby Middle School or Tom C. Clark High School.

As a very small community, Shavano Park is home to few attractions within its boundaries. However, High Lonesome Ranch Hunting is found here. This facility offers 4300 acres of hunting and outdoorsman experiences, including deer, quail, turkey, and wild hog hunts.

Other attractions are located within a short drive of Shavano Park. SilverHorn Golf Club is a great place for golf fans to play a few rounds, and families with children may wish to check out University Bowl or Regal Fiesta Stadium 16. The Elian Hotel Resort and Spa is also a popular destination for visitors who need a day of rest and relaxation.

Shavano Park and the rest of the San Antonio area lie within a humid subtropical transitional zone. Winter weather tends to be comfortable or mild, depending on whether northern cold fronts move into the area. While average high temperatures in January, the coldest month, will reach the low-60s, nighttime lows can plummet into the 30s. This means that many Shavano Park homeowners will choose to have a heat pump or other home heating system in place.

Shavano Park residents have no need for home heating during the summer, as temperatures will rise to an average of 95 degrees. These hot and dry conditions can be dangerous if residents don’t have access to a cool place to go. Shavano Park area HVAC professionals work hard to ensure that air conditioning units are in great working order before the hottest summer weather arrives.
