About Live Oak, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Bexar County, Texas, Live Oak is a small city found in the San Antonio Metro Statistical Area. As of 2010, the total population was roughly 13,100 residents. The community was incorporated in 1960, and city founders believed that the presence of Interstate 35 and the Loop 1604 interchange would make the community a perfect residential location. Originally known for its ranching and farming history, Live Oak has since evolved to include peaceful neighborhoods with medical facilities and recreational opportunities available for local residents.

There are several attractions located in and around the Live Oak area. Visitors and residents alike can enjoy the great outdoors at Live Oak Park, Davenport Park, or the Live Oak Swimming Pool, and golf fans may enjoy playing around at the nearby Olympia Hills Golf and Conference Center. Families with kids may prefer an afternoon at Laser Legend and Texas Karts or checking out a new movie at Regal Cinemas Live Oak 18.

The weather in Live Oak tends to be warm to hot year-round. This is especially apparent during the summer, when average highs in July and August reach the mid-90s. Without a reliable home air conditioning system in place, residents could be at risk of suffering from heat-related illnesses. This is especially problematic for people with chronic medical conditions and the elderly, who are most vulnerable when it comes to these issues.

During the winter, temperatures tend to be mild to warm. Average highs in January, which is the coolest month of the year, can reach the 60s. This does not mean that the area is immune to cold weather, as daytime lows may fall below 40 degrees. Since unpredictable cold weather does occur, Live Oak HVAC specialists recommend that residents invest in a home heating system and have it serviced during the fall so that it is ready for winter weather.
