About Leon Valley, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Bexar CountyLeon Valley is a northwest San Antonio enclave and Texas city. As of 2010, the population had surpassed 10,100 residents, and although the community is completely surrounded by San Antonio, it is an independent municipality.  The community was developed in the 1950s, and in 1952, area residents filed a petition to be incorporated as an independent city, as they did not want to be annexed by San Antonio. The community is served by the Northside Independent School District, and older students will complete their education at John Marshall High School in Leon Valley or Holmes High School in San Antonio.

There are several attractions located in and directly around the Leon Valley area. Firearm enthusiasts may enjoy a trip to Texas Guns to check out their indoor range, and the Texas Thunder Range is also located nearby and provides indoor shooting. The San Antonio Aquarium is located in this portion of the city, as are popular event venues like the Leon Valley Community & Conference Center and the Seneca Ballroom. Outdoor activities are also available at Raymond Rimkus Park.

Unlike other parts of the country that experience distinctive weather patterns during each season, the climate of Leon Valley tends to be warm to hot year-round. Snow is very rare during the winter, and temperatures tend to stay in the low- to mid-60s. Some cold snaps are possible, and overnight lows can fall to the 30s or 40s, so a home heating system may be needed for comfort during these times.

The summer months in Leon Valley see high temperatures, some of which can reach dangerous levels in the high-90s. This can be a difficult time of the year for people with allergies and other breathing conditions, but an efficient air conditioner can help. Not only can these systems keep a home’s interior cool, but they can also improve indoor air quality by reducing allergens, pollen, and other pollutants that residents are breathing.
