About Cibolo, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Bexar and Guadalupe counties, Cibolo is a Texas city that makes up part of the San Antonio – New Braunfels Metro Statistical Area. As of 2010, the population was nearly 19,600, indicating an increase from only about 3,000 residents in 2000. Originally home to Comanche and other Native American tribes, this community was first founded after the Southern Pacific Railroad arrived, and it was officially established in 1965. The Schertz-Cibolo-University City Independent School District currently services the community.

There are a few popular attractions located in Cibolo. Shady Oaks Ranch offers outdoor recreation, a train ride for kids, and event spaces. Visitors and residents alike may also enjoy spending some time hiking or walking the trails at Gutierrez Park, Schlanther Park, or Niemietz Park.

Other attractions are located in the communities that surround Cibolo. Bussey’s Flea Market in Schertz is a popular shopping destination and features antiques and other collectibles. The Retama Racing Park in Selma offers horse racing and other events, and the Olympia Hills Golf and Conference Center attracts both visitors and residents for its course, putting greens, and driving range. 

Winter weather in Cibolo is quite warm compared to other parts of the country. Snow is rare in this community, and temperatures average in the 60s throughout the season. Occasionally, cold fronts will push into the area from the north and can lead to freezing temperatures, and during these times, residents are grateful to have a heat pump or furnace in place for emergencies.

Weather conditions are more extreme during the summer in Cibolo. High temperatures reach an average of 95 degrees, which can be especially dangerous for children, the elderly, and people who are battling chronic medical conditions. In order to stay safe, residents and visitors need to have a cool place to go, and a properly serviced air conditioning system is essential.
