Unique art galleries are also found in Alamo Heights, including Nanette Richardson Fine Art and Greenhouse Fine Art of Alamo Heights.
Alamo Heights will experience about a dozen nights per year in which subfreezing temperatures occur. Wintry precipitation also arrives every few years, although snow accumulation is rare. In the event that cold fronts do sweep through the area, Alamo Heights residents should be prepared with an efficient home heating system in place.
Climate control systems are even more important during the summers in Alamo Heights. The weather can get dangerously hot during this season, with average highs in July and August reaching the mid-90s. Although an air conditioner can help to keep interior temperatures cool, it is important to have a unit serviced regularly in order to ensure it is operating efficiently and is working to improve indoor air quality.
