About Universal City, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Universal City is located in Guadalupe and Bexar counties. This Texas city borders San Antonio, and it is situated next to Randolph Air Force Base. As of 2010, the population had grown to over 18,500 residents. This community was originally founded in the late 1920s when three San Antonio area doctors purchased farmland in speculation that the future military airfield nearby might attract homeowners and businesses. Universal City was officially established in 1960, and it is now served by the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City and Judson Independent School Districts. The community is also home to the Universal City Public Library.

Universal City has many interesting attractions and things to see within the community. There are several parks and outdoor spaces available, including Cimarron Park, the Universal City Veterans Park, Red Horse Park, and Meadow Oaks Park. The Olympia Hills Golf and Conference Center offers a driving range, putting greens, and golf course, and visitors looking for a night out on the town may enjoy a stop at da BUNKER Sports Bar.

When living in Universal City, a reliable air conditioner is essential. Since temperatures in the summer will reach the upper-90s, home air conditioning systems tend to get a good workout. Not only will these systems protect residents from the heat, but they can also improve indoor air quality. Since air conditioners get so much use in the community, it is recommended that homeowners have their units professionally serviced periodically to ensure that they are fully operational.

Although rare, cold temperatures do sometimes arrive in Universal City and the surrounding area. Snow is not likely, but some freezing rain may occur when cold fronts move into the area from the north. During the winter months, many residents will need to rely on their home furnace or heat pump systems in order to keep their families comfortable.
